Prayer For My Mom

Update: Surgery went well was shorter than expected, and Mom is now in recovery. Thanks again for your prayers. We are now in the 4th floor ICU waiting area.
Right now (Thursday, 10/18) I’m sitting in a waiting area at Willis-Knighton Piermont Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana while my mom is undergoing triple-bypass surgery. She went in for a test yesterday and they discovered 3 blocked arteries and scheduled surgery for this morning.
I appreciate your prayers for my mom. Thanks!

It was good to talk to you, John. Maybe we can get together when I’m back in S’port next week.
Appreciate the encouragement, Charlie! The short update is that she is recovering well, but has several weeks of rehab and care ahead. In the meantime, my Dad had a small, short seizure while at the hospital! I’ll update more fully soon.
