Love it! Thank you for what you're doing.

I remember we discussed this brielfy over coffee, adn though you said many other things, I think we agreed you hit the nail on the head when you said something like "all sermons are basically topical". Right on!

However one works it out, the Christian pulpit needs to be more than PSA's to better living with Jesus mixed in so the message has some authority.

Currently reading "The Difficult Doctrine of the Love of God" by D.A. Carson, and it's making me realize how overly sentimental God's love can be preached.

Thanks for stopping by and for the kind words, Ben.

That these principles "ring true" with so many others is very humbling to me, since I'm still working daily on not being a "lame leader," myself!

Johnny,
I appreciate your Laws.
We have way to many leaders (pastors) that don't understand leadership. This book should be the primer for church leadership.

Thanks for the comments, Peter and Lisa!

Oh, and Lisa, it's GGG not XXX. Haha, I hope that doesn't drive weird traffic to my blog! :P

Cory Edwards has some interesting comments about Hoodwinked as opposed to Shrek on his blog right now. He is not directing the sequel, for a variety of reasons. I hope they don't ruin what was a great start with Hoodwinked, but we'll just have to wait and see....

Uproariously funny. We went to the theater to see it twice. The first time I saw it was with a theater full of little kids. Everytime the squirrel came on the screen, little kids laughed out loud. It was the sweetest sound. My teens and eight yo loved it, too. XXX Granny. What a hoot. Bought the movie and the soundtrack. Family favorite.

Didn't know there was going to be a sequel, though kind of glad to hear it. Wish I could find this movie for easy pickup/purchase. It was pretty clever and entertaining. Not quite appropriate for my daughter when it came out, but she could probably handle it now. (The whole plot twist thing would have been a bit too much for her....)
